Routine testing undertaken by Sainsbury’s has identified that their freefrom stuffing & freefrom breadcrumbs may contain traces of gluten.

Customers with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten are advised not to eat these products.

Recalled batch details:

  • Sainsbury’s freefrom Stuffing 113g
  • Best Before dates up to and including March 2009

  • Sainsbury’s freefrom Breadcrumbs 113g
  • Best Before dates up to and including April 2009

The company has withdrawn the affected products from sale and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations which will inform their at risk members of the withdrawal. Notices are being displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal and the actions they can take if they have purchased the products.

No other Sainsbury’s products are known to be affected.
