Clam sauce - wheat free recipe

Wheat free Clam sauce

serves 2

225 g clams, fresh or canned
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
400 g can chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ red pepper, chopped
½ green pepper, chopped
2-3 dashes Tabasco sauce
black pepper, freshly ground

wheat free, gluten free or rice pasta

1. Put oil in saucepan and gently brown onion and garlic.
2. Add tomato puree, tomatoes, peppers and tabasco, bring to the boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Add the clams and seasoning and cook for 3 - 4 minutes.
4. Serve on a bed of wheat free or gluten free pasta.
