A safe haven for coeliacs in the Suffolk countryside, with a chef whose wife is a coeliac, so the kitchen knowledge can be relied on.
Not everything is gluten free, however great care is taken to keep gluten and non-gluten items segregated. They also only make one type of each dish, for example the lasagne is gluten free, and there is not a non-gluten option available to ensure that mix-ups don't happen.
Items that are gluten free are marked "gf" on the menu, and gluten free bread or crackers are always available. Gluten free main courses include; battered fish with homemade chips, lasagne (meat & vegetarian options), sausage & mash, coq au vin, vegetarian cottage pie, and a very tasty selection of desserts.
